Beaches, Lunenburg - World UNESCO World Heritage Site, golf, the HMCS Fraser museum and entertainment complex, and shopping are all close by.

Bridgewater is a riverfront town situated beautifully on the scenic and historic LaHave River. The LaHave River Valley is a haven for visitors on a year round basis, summer boating, fall foilage and winter ice fishing. Bridgewater is the hub of the South Shore and located in Lunenburg County - the Christmas tree capital of the World. The Centennial Trail runs through town as does the Lighthouse Route.

The town of Lunenburg is only one highway exit away or a short drive along the Lighthouse Route. Home to the Bluenose and UNESCO World Heritage Site, the area is filled with activities including whale watching, boat tours, horseback riding, the Centennial Trail, sea kayaking, and deep sea fishing. Halifax is one hour East.
